8TH GRADE TEACHER
In 2005, No Bare Feet released their long-awaited debut LP, ‘8th Grade Teacher’. The album tracked 15 songs and included a bonus track called ”Irish Man”, a small demo test recording that was written about my father, who is good friends with the singer of the band to this day! The album also includes a song called ’Fuck U 2' a fun and aggressive punk-rock classic about not giving a FK! The album was recorded and produced by Cameron Webb, one of the most famous and esteemed music producers in the music industry. It’s unkown how exactly a small-time band managed to strike a collaboration with the producer of all the greatest punk hits, but it didn’t matter, because the album was an incredible masterpiece. Which is what made the following year after a tramendous disappointment. Not long after the release of ‘8th Grade Teacher’ the band sadly grew tension between one another and broke up in 2006. Although the band managed to bring the crew back together for a short time after, it was clear that the flame that once burned bright was gone and the band broke up for the final time that same year.
